What is the best month to go to Finland?
The peak tourist season is started at the end of the June, right after Midsummer and lasts till the mid-August. Easter and Christmas holidays may raise hotel prices significantly.
Best time to go to Helsinki and Southern Finland: May (less rainy), June, mid-August.
Best time to visit Lapland: 3-4 weeks before Christmas or at the end of March – April (before or after Easter and spring holidays). The rates may be higher at Christmas time, at the beginning of January (Russian New Year holiday week) and during Chinese New Year in February.
